As more systems are devised to control hardware between continents via the Internet time delays become more of a problem. Doctors in one country can perform delicate procedures on a patient on the other side of the world but varying time delays have to be dealt with.
The Advanced Interfaces Group, Manchester University uses a technique to tackle Internet delays.
